MISSION POMPE à Eau

Our first mission was it to bring a Waterpump to a family in Oulat Teima a big village in the near of Agadir. We took the Waterpump from Freiburg the son which lives there ask if we could take it down to marokko. He don t get the german Passport, aswell when he lives already since 15 years in Freiburg. We arrived to New Yearseve, the family made us very wellcome. We had lot s of cakes and a really good Taigin. On the beginning we was wundering, because we thaught we gonne arrive in a little tiny village were they have no running water. The Sister, which accompanied us through the evening, explaind that the father have a little cottage on the coast, but he is to old to live there for all the year. There for is the pump, because he ownes the well is the water for free and everybody can come to take water. It s seem more to be a long term projekt- inshallah. It took them 8 years to build the well and us 1 and half to bring the pump. We will pass there again on the way back to see how it goes!
